Madoka is one of my favourite cosplays I've made. It certainly took the longest too...I'm very proud of this cosplay, the only referce used were photos of Madoka.

The cosplay is made of a few different poly-blends, cotton, lace, twill, tulle, sheer fabric and satin ribbon. The petticoat was also made by myself, with layers of tulle and sheer fabric with the satin ribbon on the bottom.

The petal skirt has exactly eight petals, just like madoka's dress which were airbrushed pink with a slight glitter.

The soul gem is also made of crayola model magic modelling foam, then molded and painted. 

Each part of this cosplay was made by myself, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out!
